I'm Fatima, a self-taught artist living and drawing in Dubai. Since 2019 I've been turning photographs into hand-drawn portraits — grandparents captured in time for a golden anniversary, brides on their wedding day, babies on their first birthday, and quiet tributes to loved ones who are no longer with us. Wherever you are in the UAE — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or any of the seven emirates — your finished portrait is carefully packed and brought to your door, and you pay cash on delivery, only once it's in your hands.

From your photo to a finished portrait

It starts with one clear photo. Share it through the order form, choose your size — A5, A4, A3 or larger — and tell me how many people (or pets) belong in the drawing. You'll see your price instantly, before you confirm anything. I re-confirm every detail with you on WhatsApp before the first pencil line, and I share progress photos while the layers build up — so the final reveal is a joy, never a surprise.

Every portrait is drawn once, for you

There is no printer in my studio. Each portrait is built from hours of shading — the kind of detail that makes people lean in and ask whether it's really a drawing. Graphite for timeless black-and-white realism, artist-grade colored pencils for soft lifelike color, acrylic on canvas when a wall calls for a statement. Your portrait is signed, protected with fixative and made to outlast the photo that inspired it.

Choosing your size and photo

The best portraits start with one clear, well-lit photo — natural daylight, the face in focus, and as high-resolution as you have. I work at A5, A4 and A3, and larger on request; A4 is the popular choice for a single face, A3 for two people or for extra detail. Not sure which size suits your wall, or which style fits the photo? Common questions

How many people can you draw in one portrait?

As many as the composition allows — a couple, a family, a group of friends. Each extra subject adds detail and time, so the price rises a little per person, and larger sizes give everyone room to breathe. Send me the photo and I'll recommend the size.

Can you draw from an old or slightly blurry photo?

Often, yes. I can work from an older print, or combine two photos — one for the face, one for the pose. The sharper the reference, the more detail I can capture, so send me what you have on WhatsApp and I'll be honest about what's possible before you order.

Do portraits arrive framed?

Pencil portraits are delivered flat and carefully protected, ready for the frame of your choice; acrylic portraits on canvas arrive ready to hang. If you'd like framing advice for your wall, just ask when we confirm the details.
